PLEASE NOTE: This listing is for the Lifter only. Adjust work angle of Jigsaw Puzzle Press for best light, less glare, more comfort. I already explained this above, you're just misunderstanding it.The Lifter Accessory. There's nothing misaligned, and it's very simple. I tried this, its reverse, totally ignoring the numbers themselves and just hitting the buttons in read order based on the absences in the puzzle, and then finally came here to the forums before actually figuring out that an entirely different mapping schema that also depends on a gap is used.Īll they would have needed to do to avoid this is not make every single absence in the puzzle be in the middle and rightmost column of their respective boxes, therefore the only actually totally 'aligned' locations to map to the ground would be the puzzle as a whole and not the numbers locations in the smaller grids. Going by how the numbers are arranged inside of their own block, which also maps to the buttons, you get the answer: Originally posted by Judge Cudge:The reason this puzzle is terrible isn't simply because of misalignment, it's because there are multiple different competing schemes of alignment. Other than the snow hint, I refused to use any hints in this game. I think this and the first puzzle with 4 buttons (which I got achievement for as a result of not using help) Are the only 2 puzzles I technically did incorrectly since I brute forced them. Consumed a lot of money and was a bit tiring, but it got the job done. Basically did it blindly, but with a process that solved it. I started with the top left button and then tested all 5 combinations then did so for the button below it which resulted in finding the 1, 2 and then the 1,2,3, and 1,2,3,4 shortly after. #HELP FORUM PUZZLE DIMENSION MANUAL#That said, I fail to see the problem because.well honestly, I just brute forced the puzzle using a manual linear search. I think its just a bit harder to see the connection. That said, I wouldn't call it nonsense either. Now that I see your explanation and saw the video, I do get it, but I wouldn't call it obvious from the get go. I play Sudoku all the time, but I simply couldn't see the connection between the Sudoku and the buttons. Originally posted by Kunovega:It's really simple if you know the basic rules for sodoku, you don't even have to solve the puzzle you just push the missing numbers, and yes, they are there I actually kind of have to agree on this one- at the very least, this puzzle is a bit unclear, Kunovega. The missing numbers are the only thing that gives you a single solution here. Why would it make any sense to look at the top right specifically? There is nothing pointing there, so it's exactly as likely as any other block. It's the only hint that makes any sense in context. The missing numbers are the single thing that stands out in that situation. #HELP FORUM PUZZLE DIMENSION CODE#especially considering the presence of a valid code in the top right block. why would I even consider that? there is no leap of logic that would have me arrive at that conclusion. the block on the top right of the sudoku puzzle has the 1 on the mid left, the 2 on the top right, the 3 on the bottom right and the 4 on the top left.Īt no point did I ever consider that the game wanted me to identify the empty squares. I can't imagine why anybody would think to identify the missing numbers, when the block on the top right of the puzzle has the numbers 1,2,3 and 4 on the left and right outer edges. ![]() Originally posted by Jessica♥:I'm afraid I have to concur that this is indeed a stupid nonsensical puzzle. ![]()
